Advancement Information Management

The campus advancement community relies on the flow of robust, accurate data through efficient processes and effective systems in a secure environment. Advancement Information Management is the department that manages, enhances, and archives data on campus constituents.

Advancement Information Management:

Serves as the office of record for biographic/demographic information related to alumni, donors, parents, and friends of UC Berkeley.
Delivers strategic data management and sourcing to support the advancement community.
Partners with Information Technology to provide complete, current data in CADS, documenting the campus’s relationship with its constituents.
Archives and preserves leadership prospect/donor biographic and gift documentation and makes it readily available to fundraisers.
Offers support and training to units and individuals that are identifying constituencies.
