Information Technology manages the Campuswide Alumni/Development System (CADS) and provides programming, application development, and other support for 700 online users in 50 development and alumni units.
CADS is the central database for the campus fundraising community, with records of more than one million individuals and organizations who are campus donors, prospects, students, alumni, faculty, members of campus organizations, and other friends of the University.
CADS is a UNIX-based, relational database comprising over 500 tables and 12 distinct data modules that have data entry, inquiry, and reporting components. It is augmented by user interfaces and reporting tools.
