Development Communications is part of the communications, events, and stewardship group, which helps to build positive relationships with donors and potential donors in order to leverage support for the University. Our audiences include alumni, parents, students, faculty, staff, and friends.

We are part of a full-service strategic marketing team, providing promotional, editorial, design, events, Web, and donor relations services to suport the entire spectrum of fundraising activities at Berkeley.

Our mission:

• Showcase the excellence of the University and its contributions to society;
• Promote campus fundraising priorities;
• Demonstrate the importance of private support to the University;
• Recognize and thank donors for their contributions; and
• Provide fundraisers with tools for donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
