Administration and Finance units provide the financial and operational infrastructure to advance the programs and activities under the purview of the University Relations control unit. Through subordinate managers, functional areas of responsibility include:

• Management oversight of budgetary allocations to divisions within the control unit: University Relations, Development Office, and Public Affairs.
• Financial operations of the UC Berkeley Foundation, including real estate, investment of trusts and endowments, department-based venture capital funds, and distributions to Regents accounts.
• A comprehensive range of human resources services.
• Day-to-day business services for development office units.
