The Financial Services unit is divided into two sections by financial and functional responsibilities:
- UC Berkeley Foundation (UCBF) Financial Services
- This section is responsible for recording and reporting all UCBF financial information, including all revenues, expenditures, and other UCBF fund activity. The section issues over 1,600 fund reports monthly to benefiting campus units. Quarterly financial statements are prepared for presentation to the President and Board of Trustees of the Foundation.
- Business Operations and Services
- This section is responsible for acquisition of necessary services, supplies, and equipment to facilitate ongoing fundraising efforts of the Development Office. The section is also responsible for preparing monthly expenditure reports for over 30 cost centers.
