Human Resources

The Human Resources group provides full-service in-house human resources functions to the University Relations control unit. Services provided include employee and labor relations, salary administration, compensation and classification, recruitment of career, casual, temporary, and student staff, and payroll and benefits administration. Human Resources also houses official records of employment, including personnel files and timekeeping records. The unit also manages Worker’s Compensation claims and coordinates ergonomic work site evaluations. The Human Resources unit serves as principal liaison with the Berkeley Campus Personnel Office on all personnel/payroll matters.
