The Chancellor's Reception to follow on the Campanile Esplanade
Please join your fellow seniors of all majors in celebrating the graduation of the Class of 2009 from the University of California, Berkeley by participating in the traditional Senior Procession, which opens the ceremony.
Seniors must RSVP by Friday, March 27 to reserve tickets and have their names printed in the program. Commencement Convocation tickets are $2 each; a maximum of six tickets per student will be available for pickup during the Graduation Fair from April 7–10 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Commencement Convocation is a campuswide event for all graduating students, hosted by Chancellor Robert Birgeneau. We invite all families, friends, and guests to celebrate this important milestone with their graduates. Please check in with your graduate about important deadlines.
These commencement ceremonies are sponsored by individual colleges, departments, and units (for example, College of Engineering, English Department, Chicano/Latino Studies). College, department, and unit graduations are considered the diploma-conferring ceremonies. This calendar is updated periodically, but it may not reflect all the latest changes. Contact your department for the most up-to-date information on your ceremony.
