Dear Seniors,
As tuition fees have risen in the past several years, more and more well-qualified prospective students are unable to come to Berkeley because they lack the financial resources to do so. For this reason, the Class of 2008 is establishing the Class of 2008 Endowed Scholarship Fund to provide disadvantaged students with the means to come to Cal.
Every gift is matched dollar-for-dollar by a group of alumni. In addition, gifts to the 2008 Endowed Scholarship Fund will be matched by the Chancellor's Challenge for Student Support. This means that a gift of $20.08 today will have the impact of $60.24 in the life of a future Berkeley student. Or, if you choose, you can donate directly to your college or school, and enhance the undergraduate experience that these future students will receive when they arrive.
